Watermarking 3D Models
Stehlík, Václav ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is dedicated to embedding and extraction of watermarks to/from 3D models represented by polygonal mesh. The goal is to choose a suitable method for watermark embedding and extraction to/from a 3D model for the purpose of implementing a tool of such capabilities. The resulting solution uses methods proposed in article A Novel Blind Robust Digital Watermarking on 3D Meshes . Used methods create two watermarks. 'OTC' watermark that changes vertices of the model and 'Zero' watermark that does not change the model at all. These watermarks provide robustness against attacks and modification such as translation, scaling, rotation, simplification, random noise, remeshing and vertex reordering. Used methods also preserve imperceivability of watermark thanks to minimal changes of the model. Methods are blind and do not require original model. The tool is implemented in a form of simple web application which allows user to embed and extract watermark to/from files in stl format. This work includes testing and evaluation of success and usability of the tool against various attacks on chosen test set of models.
Watermarking 3D Models
Honzátková, Tereza ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
Goals of this work are to summarize the process and existing methods of 3D models watermarking, to choose relevant methods for embedding/extraction of a watermark to/from 3D models. The final solution is based on Spectral Mesh Compression technique. This method is robust, imperceptible and informed. The embedded watermark is detectable and robust against geometrical transformations, added random noise, mesh smoothing and simplification, compression and cropping.  The realized tool allows a user to embedding watermark into the mesh, modify the mesh and extraction of a watermark from mesh. Testing was conducted on a set of 5 models differing in size, shape and density of points. The resulting tool inserts a watermark composed of four characters that can detect both undamaged models and the models affected. Among the attacks against which the watermark is robust, include transformations, rotation, scale, adaptive random noise, and combination of this.
Protection of copyright and international Law
Rybář, Dominik ; Dobřichovský, Tomáš (advisor) ; Žikovská, Petra (referee)
Protection of Copyright and International Law Abstract The topic of the thesis is focused on currnet situation within the area of international copyright protection in connection with new technologies. Firstly, it points to differences in national and regional adaptations of legislation based on the principle of teritoriality typical for copyright protection. It defines the position of copyright within the framework of international law and within the system of intellectual property rights. It then presents the legislational framework of this area through the Berne Convention, the TRIPs Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights and the WIPO World Intellectual Property Organization. It then focuses on the regional area of the European Union, where it discusses the Copyright Directive in the Information Society and the currently prepared Copyright Directive in the Single Digital Market and discusses in more detail its controversial articles 11 and 13. In Its second part, the thesis aproaches concepts of copyright, the criterion of originality and uniqueness, dualism of copyright as divided to the economic and moral rights and the concept of employee works. This provides a theoretical basis for the following chapters to illustrate a possible copyright problem related to artificial...
Photograph as the copyright and copyright protection of photographer
Pavelcová, Andrea ; Císařová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Žikovská, Petra (referee)
The objective of the master's thesis called 'Photograph as the copyright and copyright protection of photographer' is to describe the basic foundations and characteristics of the current regulation of copyright work, specifically of photography. The Czech legal system do not contain a complex regulation of photography; therefore, the thesis deals with the individual aspects of copyright law related to the characterisation of photographs as a copyright work, the rights of photographers or their rights related to the protection of their copyright. The thesis is based primarily on copyright law commentaries, copyright regulation on the Czech, international and European level and on the decisions of both Czech and foreign courts due to rapid development of copyright law in the information society and the inflexibility of the current legislation. Due to the author's interest in photography, the thesis is enriched with personal observations from her own experience with photography. The thesis is divided into seven chapters. The first deals with the general description of copyright, its principles, basic concepts and the moment of copyright formation. Chapter two focuses on photography and discusses the subject of copyright protection. Chapter three deals with authorship of photography, defines under...

Copyright in the digital photos on the internet
Matějíčková, Lucie ; Sigmund, Tomáš (advisor) ; Čermák, Radim (referee)
The thesis is focused on copyright in the digital photos on the internet. The aim is to identify whether website owners act in accordance with copyright law, on the contrary infringers and to what extent the use and acquisition of photos, images and graphics on the Internet. The sociological research was used to achieve this goal. In conclusion of the thesis are results of the survey, their analysis and proposals of suggestions. The first part is an introduction to the theoretical elucidation of copyright and its relationship to digital photos published on the Internet. The organization dedicated to the protection of copyright and download sources of photos published on the internet is included. In the second part, based on previous theoretical knowledge, two research questions and six hypotheses were asked. The benefits of this thesis are recommendations for new and existing businesses on the internet and for bloggers that have emerged from the evaluation conducted sociological research.
Copyright protection
Plchotová, Gabriela ; Žák, Květoslav (advisor) ; Spirit, Michal (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to offer a straightforward manual to anyone who authors their own original work or who utilises the original work of other creators. As such, it is necessary to briefly and clearly explain the historical development and essential terms of authorship as a concept and the origin of the need for copyright protection. Furthermore, this thesis includes chapters on copyright protection development specifically in the Czech Republic and the current definition of related laws in particular. Consequently, some of the most important provisions of the copyright protection laws are discussed. This practical manual, which is based on the theoretical findings from the first section of the thesis, introduces the problematic issue of how to best proceed when attempting to protect an author's original work under current copyright laws. Additionally, this manual also deals with how to avoid infringing on copyright laws when utilising other authors' original work. The following chapter focuses on the collective management of copyrights, its development as an instrument of copyright protection and its effectiveness in the Czech Republic. This chapter includes a list of all significant organizations that deal with copyright laws and their closer description.
